Katherine DalPra

Katherine E. DalPra, 83, of Wooster, died Saturday, January 13, 2018 at LifeCare Hospice.

Katherine was born June 25, 1934 in Cleveland, Ohio to Joseph and Katherine Gbur.

She married Anthony DalPra on November 27, 1954.

Katherine worked for Wayne Savings and Loan and Real Estate Showcase. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, NV. Katherine was an avid reader, loved to play cards, a storyteller for the state parks, and loved to travel. She cross-stitched quilts and blankets for all of her children and grandchildren. One of Katherine’s greatest pleasures was hosting family gatherings.

Katherine’s legacy will live on in her husband; children Deb (Randy) Elser, Veronica (Dennis) Deflinger and Tony (Jane) DalPra all of Wooster; grandchildren Angela (James) Yarwood, Chad (Heidi) Elser, Rachel (Bryan) Wilhelmy, Candice (John) Storey, Nate (Autumn) Tooley, Brad (Angel) Derflinger, Chelsea DalPra, Hailey (Paul) Hauter, Cameron (Justin) Binegar; 12 great-grandchildren.

Katherine was preceded in death by her parents, great-grandson Blake, brother Joe and sister Lucille.
