Katherine Johnson

Katherine M. Johnson, 93, of Wooster, died Monday, February 28, 2022 at Wooster Community Hospital.

Katherine was born September 15, 1928 in Beverly, WV to Howard and Virgie {Kyle} Pritt.

She married Marvin Johnson.  He passed on January 11, 1997.

Katherine worked as a sales lady at Pierce’s Sports shop and then the Estee Lauder Counter at Freedlanders before retiring.  She attended Smithville United Methodist Church. Katherine enjoyed playing cards, loved making pies, and was a gifted seamstress.

Katherine will be deeply missed by her beloved daughter-in-law Ellen Johnson; grandchildren Charitee, Travis, Melissa, and Stephanie; great-grandchild Wolfgang Huffman; nieces and nephew.

Katherine was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons David and Richard, brothers, and 1 sister.
