Katherine "Kitty" Lee Ratley-Savola

Katherine “Kitty” Lee Ratley-Savola, 80, of Mount Vernon, OH, passed away surrounded by her family May 2, 2023, at Knox Community Hospital, in Mount Vernon.

Kitty was born October 27, 1942, in Newtown, OH to Walter Lee and Betty Jane {Young} Ladd.

She married Vernon V. Savola on February 22nd, 1997, who passed away May 28^th, 2016.

A graduate of Northeastern High School in Owensville, OH, Kitty lived in Camarillo, CA and worked at Rite Aid for over 20 years. She joined the Moose lodge, VFW, and Red Hatters Society in Camarillo.   Fun-loving she loved Bingo, cats, especially Kiwi her beloved pet, strawberry margaritas, and spending time with family and friends.

Kitty will be deeply missed by her sisters Sandra (Ralph) Kitzmiller and Stephanie Jayne (Bob) Sneary as well as many nieces and nephews.

Kitty was preceded in death by her husband and her son Steven B. Ratley.
