Kenneth Bancroft

Kenneth Berkley Bancroft, 91, of Wooster, died Friday, January 12, 2018  at Glendora Health Care Center, in Wooster.

Friends may call Wednesday, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel.  Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Evan Fischer officiating . Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.

Kenneth was born April 20, 1926 in Barbados to  Roselee  Bancroft.

He lived in Barbados until he finished his schooling, then moved to Guyana.

He married Sattee Kalikasingh  on March 15, 1976.

He was a Minister of Government, and a member of Parliament in Guyana. He was an advisor to the Prime Minister, and his last portfolio was Chairman of Geology and Mines, and Chairman of The Gold Board.   The Bancroft family moved to Wooster, Ohio in 2005.

Kenneth will be deeply missed by his wife Sattee Bancroft of Wooster; children Barbara Dyalsingh, Satrohan Singh,  Richard Bancroft, Kenneth Bancroft Jr., Senetta Bancroft, and Daniele Bancroft;  eight grandchildren; four nephews and two nieces

Kenneth was preceded in death by his mother, and five brothers.
