Kenneth E. Booth, 72, of Ashland, died Saturday, May 23, 2020 at his residence.
Ken was born January 25, 1948 in Ashland to David and Blanche {Stauffer} Booth.
He served in the U.S. Air Force during Vietnam. Ken graduated from Ashland College with an engineering degree.
He married the love of his life, Sandi Cline on February 23, 1979. She passed on August 20, 2016.
Ken retired from Mowry Construction & Engineering, where he worked since he was 14 years old. He was a member of Yesteryear Machinery Club, Massy Harris Tractor Club and Ashland VFW Post 2331. Ken spent the last two weeks of his life with family and friends, laughing and sharing memories of a lifetime of happiness. Ken and Sandi had a blended family, but he never referred to his kids as step, just his kids. He loved and treated everyone as if they were his own and they were blessed to have him in their life.
Ken will be deeply missed by children Kim (Chuck) Fisher of Ashland, Jim (Jami) Drushel of Wooster, Mike Drushel and Jason (Cheri) Booth both of Ashland; grandchildren Emily (Christopher), Rebecca, Abigail, Josh (Katie), Nick (Heather), Emily and Mel; three great-grandchildren; aunt Jean Stauffer; friends Jerry Shearer, Dan Beach, Mark Heilman, Dan and Robin Beasley, Carl and Linda Fulmer, and Ken and Alyssa Tankersley.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents and wife of 37 years.
Roberts Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements. Ken’s final resting place will be at his family home in Ashland with the love of his life, Sandi.
