Kenneth "Ken" McKinley Sr., 74, of Wooster, passed away Saturday, April 18, 2015 at his residence.
Services will be Thursday at 12 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Kevin Phipps officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
Ken was born April 14, 1941 in Ashland to Roger and Mabel McKinley.
He married Pearl (Schuch) on July 21, 1961.
Ken retired from Mount Eaton Landfill. He was a member of Central Christian Church in Wooster. Ken was a member of the GWRRA Chapter I of Wooster. He enjoyed spending time riding his motorcycle and going to McDonald's on Sunday mornings for breakfast with his friends. Ken loved spending time with his grandchildren and dogs, Bella and Nitro.
Ken will be deeply missed by his wife, Pearl, of 53 years; children Brenda (Mark) Schlabach and Kenneth Jr. (Sonya) McKinley both of Wooster; grandchildren Kenneth McKinley III, Trinity and Nick Schlabach, Ashley (Nick), Jesi (Danny) and Jaime (Ervin); great-grandchildren Lilee, Troy, Bryce and Camryn.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.
