Kirk Baker

Kirk “Burrhead” Baker, 65, of Wooster, was called home to be with the Lord Friday, March 24, 2023 at Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare.

Kirk was born May 6, 1957 in Wooster, Ohio to Dean and Julia {Runion} Baker.

Kirk worked for Stahl Metal and Horizon. He attended Salem Lutheran Church. Kirk enjoyed fishing, camping, and being outdoors.

Kirk will be deeply missed by his son Mike (Rachel) McIntire of Shreve; grandchildren Rowan and Della; brothers Kirk (Cindy) Rieger of NC, Doug (Donetta) Baker of CO, Dan (Peggy) Baker and Dean Baker of Wooster; and several other nieces & nephews.

Kirk was preceded in death by parents, and brother Keith “Teke” Baker.

Friends may call Saturday from 10 to 12 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster.  Funeral services will be Saturday at 12 p.m. at the funeral home with Tim Barrage officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Kirk and his mother Julia’s cremated remains will be placed together. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
