Ginny was born August 18, 1924 in Big Bend, West Virginia to C. Romeo and Edna {Williams} Bower where she was raised on the family farm along with her 5 brothers and 1 sister.
She married Richard E. Boreman on September 22, 1946. He passed away December 17, 2010.
First and foremost she was an adoring wife to the love of her life Richard, to whom she was married to for 64 years during their time on this Earth. She was also a loving mother to her children and taught them the value of hard work, being kind and helpful to others, and how to take time to have fun and just be "merely foolish". Ginny also instilled in them her love and faith in God and Jesus Christ. These qualities were also passed to her grandchildren. Her beautiful red hair, quick wit, wisdom, and unique laugh endeared her to all who knew her.
During WWII, Ginny moved from her home in West Virginia to Akron, OH where she worked for Goodyear as a "Rosie the Riveter" helping to build airplanes for the war effort. After the war, she married Richard and raised their children and worked on the family farm in Wooster. She later worked at Gano's Restaurant (which later became Grayson's) where she was was well known as "that feisty redheaded waitress."
Ginny will be deeply missed by her children Marcia Boreman, Jeffrey Boreman and Lori (Timothy) Battig all of Wooster; grandchildren Josh, Jamie, Alexzander, Wesley and Bradley and numerous brothers and sisters-in law, nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Richard, daughter Joyce Ann, brothers Harlan, Hayward, Oral, Woodrow and Eugene and sister Edith.
