Lane Boggs

Elane “Lane” Boggs, 83, of Wooster, died Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Wooster Community Hospital.

Lane was born November 14, 1939 in Sevia, WV to Willie and Irene {Mollohan} Boggs.

He married Mary Rogers on November 1, 1958. 

Lane worked for the Smithville Police Department before retiring.  He was a member of Mount Zion Church of God in Wooster.  In his younger years, he loved working on cars and electronics. Lane also enjoyed reading his Bible, guns, fishing, and being with his family.

Lane will be deeply missed by his wife of 64 years; children Chloa (William) Romick of Raleigh, NC and Brenda (Jeff) Drouhard of Wooster; grandchildren Doug Romick, Katie Romick, Kylie Drouhard, and Zach (Sara) Drouhard; great-grandchildren Maverick Drouhard; brother Roland (Shirley) Boggs; sister Sarah (Paul) Turley.

Lane was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Veronica, and brother Elmer.
