Larry Wilkerson

Larry R. Wilkerson, 66, formally of Baily Lakes, now of Pompano Beach, Florida died May 14, 2013. He was born December 1, 1946 in Norwalk, Ohio the son of Alvin T. and Dorothy Wilkerson. He was a member of American Legion Post 162 of Deerfield Beach, Florida for 44 years and the Loyal Order of Moose in Pompano Beach, Florida since 1985. He served in the Vietnam War. He was a graduate of Crestview High School class of 1964 and attended Ohio State University. He was married on March 18, 1967 to Ruth Boyer who lives in Pompano Beach Florida. In addition to his wife Ruth, Larry is survived by one son and daughter in law Dan and Dawn Wilkerson of Orlando, Florida and one daughter and son in law Melinda and Chris Shepherd of Maricopa, Arizona and two grandchildren Tatum and Liam. Graveside service will be in the Ashland County Memorial Park Mausoleum , 1058 US 250 W. Ashland, Ohio 44805 at 11:00 a.m. Friday July 12, 2013. With the Rev. Dave Cooksey & Rev. Gordon Ruggles officiating. Military Honors will be provided by Active Duty Army.
