Laura Marie Begly, 90, of West Salem, died Thursday, September 7, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Services will be Tuesday, at 11:00 a.m. at the Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster with Pastor Eric Fairhurst officiating. Friends may call one hour prior from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com. Laura was born February 14, 1927 in West Salem, Ohio to Jacob and Fannie {Riehl} Tyson.
She married John Olen Begly on February 22, 1948. He passed away on December 5, 2001.
She was a full time mother and wife, and was a charter member of Westhill Baptist Church. Laura loved being involved with the church, sewing, puzzles, and gardening,
Laura will be deeply missed by her children David (Dottie) Begly of Apple Creek, Rachel (Terry) Bersch of Wooster, Arthur (Linda) Begly of North Versailles, PA, and Vernon (Edna) Begly of Orrville; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 4 great great-grandchildren (and one on the way); sister Mabel Begly of Ashland; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Laura was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years; three brothers; and one sister.
