LaVerne Hall

LaVerne Taylor Ward Hall 94 of Ashland, Ohio passed away at home February 24, 2025. She is the daughter of James Milton and Vada Jane (Curtis) Taylor, Born November 7, 1930 in Otway, Ohio. LaVerne was a resident of Ashland, Ohio for the past 13 years. She was a member of the Amvets of Ashland for 13 years. LaVerne loved country music and listening to karaoke and crocheting. She is survived by her brother Tim (Judy) Taylor of Ashland; daughters Mildred Schoolcraft of Gaffney S.C., Teresa (Abraham) Peters of Chesney S.C., Loretta Stewart of Ashland, LaVonne Harrison of Ashland; sons Chester Ward Jr. of Portsmouth, OH and Richard Ward of Mansfield, Ohio; 20 grandchildren; 56 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren. 

LaVerne was preceded in death by her parents; husband Ewell E. Hall; son-in-law Dan Schoolcraft; daughter Linda Hughes; son Jeremy Ward and her granddaughter Kayla.
