Lawrence Sandy, 90, of Wooster, died Saturday, January 26, 2013 at his residence.
There will be no services. Roberts Funeral Home – Sherwood Chapel is handling arrangements. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Garden in Weston, West Virginia. Lawrence was born June 18, 1922 in Weston, WV to John H. and Eva E. {Blake} Sandy.
He served in the US Army during WWII.
He married Rena Ocheltree in 1954. She died in 1964.
Lawrence was a truck driver in West Virginia for many years. He was a member of many fraternal clubs in Mansfield and enjoyed hunting.
Lawrence will be deeply missed by sons Larry of Wooster, Michael of Marblehead, OH, and daughter Deb of L.A., CA; grandchildren Laura, Briaunna, Dylan, Griffin, & Mike; great-grandchildren Payton, Tyler, Conner, & Justice.
Lawrence was preceded in death by his wife, a brother and five sisters.
