Lawrence (Larry) Dingus

Lawrence (Larry) Lee Dingus, 69, of Ashland, died Sunday February 18, 2018, at Good Samaritan Medical Center, in Ashland.
Larry was born December 31, 1948 in Kingsport, Tennessee to Leonard and Alberta {Fields} Dingus.
He completed Ashland High School in 1966.
He married June Litton on February 8, 1969.
He worked for U-Brand Foundry until his retirement. Larry was a member of Ashland Temple Baptist in Ashland. He loved to fish, joke around, and loved to help his friends, but most importantly, he always put his family first.
Larry will be deeply missed by his wife of 49 years, June Dingus of Ashland; children Debbie Chapman, Teresa Dingus, Travis Dingus, Vincent Dingus, and CaSondra (Tim) Dingus-Edwards;  twelve grandchildren;  ten great-grandchildren;  brother Leonard D. Dingus;  sisters Geraldine Bauchman, Arzella (Richard) Harper, and Evelyn (Roger) Counts; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, and one nephew.
Friends may call Thursday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel, Ashland.  Funeral services will follow at 11:00 at the funeral home with Pastor John Vanhorn and Pastor Troy Sage officiating.  Burial will be at Ashland County Memorial Park.   Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.   Memorial contributions may be made to Roberts Funeral home to help the family with funeral expenses..
