Lela O. Weiser, 91, of Tallahassee, FL, died Friday July 28, 2017 at Big Bend Hospice, in Tallahassee.
Friends may call Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Lela was born May 26, 1926 in Wayne County, Ohio to Alfred and Miriam {Sheets} Hughes.
She married Earl Weiser in 1953.
Lela worked for Manns Laundry and Ray Crow Cleaners. She attended the Salem Lutheran Church. She enjoyed reading, doing cross word puzzles and picture puzzles, as well as collecting Red bird figurines.
Lela will be deeply missed by children Judy (Larry) Good of Tallahassee, Gene (Jeannie) Weiser of Bowerston; grandchildren Brian (Linda) Good, Michael C. (Virginia) Weiser, Shawnette (Alan) Webber, Michael E. (Rachael) Stuber; 9 great-grandchildren; 6 great- great-grandchildren and another one expected in August.
Lela was preceded in death by her brothers Merlin Hughes, Orris Hughes and Donald Hughes, and one grandson Bruce Good.
