Leo Warren Bertschi, 74, of Ashland, went to be with his Lord, Monday, February 11, 2013 at Samaritan Hospital.
Leo was born May 13, 1938 in Akron to Walter C. and Daisy (Kays) Bertschi. He married Marsha Leiter on October 22, 1960. He served in the United States Army Reserves for 8 years. He retired from Timken in 1999, after 29 years of service. Leo was a Soldier of the Salvation Army.
Leo will be deeply missed by his wife, Marsha; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Donald and David Bertschi; and sisters, Doria Gentele and Dorothy Batting.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am, Thursday, February 14, 2013 at the Kroc Center, 527 E. Liberty Street, Ashland, with Major Larry Shade officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Ashland County Memorial Park. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center, 527 E.
