Leon Case, 70, of Norwalk, joined our heavenly father on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at the family residence of Danna and Rob Gibson, after a long battle with cancer.

Leon was born March 7, 1947 in Pikeville, KY to Quinton and Jean {Nichols} Case.

Leon served in the US Army during the Vietnam War from 1966 to 1968.

He worked in the construction field for most of his life. Leon was a member of the Norwalk VFW. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with his children, and grandchildren.

Leon will be deeply missed by his children Lisa Case-Hess of Orrville, Leon Scott Case of Wooster, Stacey Case of New London; grandchildren Timothy and Dakota Case, Destiny Hess, and his mini-me Ally Hess; great-grandchildren Gabriel and Grayson Case; brothers Quinton “JR” Case; sisters Linda Case (Bruce Harp) and Donna Lescher; and the mother of his children Donna Kay; many nieces, nephews and special friends.

Leon was preceded in death by his parents and infant son Dean Allen Case, brothers Larry and Bobby Case, and sisters Kathy Myers and Bonnie Woods, and brothers-in-law Charlie Woods and David Lescher.

Friends may call Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel, Ashland.  Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Cheri Holdridge officiating. Burial will be at Ashland County Memorial Park, where military rites will be held. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
