Leonard "Toney" Adkins, 75, of Wooster, died May 22, 2014 at his residence.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 12 pm at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster with Pastor Dan Wingate officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
Toney was born March 30, 1939 in Widen, WV to Bayliss and Carlie {Lewis} Adkins.
He married Sandra Mitchell on January 12, 1958. She survives.
He worked for Babcock & Wilcox Company.
Toney will be deeply missed by his wife Sandra; children Teri Johnson of Wooster, Angela Adkins of Cleveland, and Sheila Lautenschlager of Wooster, Sonya Adkins of Wooster; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brothers Daryl (Doreen) Adkins of West Salem, Fred Adkins of Toledo, and Homer Adkins of Wooster.
Toney was preceded in death by his parents and 5 siblings.
