Leonard G. Hamrick, 67, of Wooster, died Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at his home with his family at his side.
Friends may call Monday from 11 am until the service at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Services will be Monday at 1 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Ralph Griffith officiating. Leonard was born April 6, 1945 in Swandale, WV to Norville and Maggie Hamrick.
He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He married Linda White on January 15, 1966. She survives.
He was a machinist for Orrville Products for many years, and then retired from Crown Steel. Leonard enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and spending time outdoors.
Leonard will be deeply missed by his wife Linda; mother Maggie Hamrick of Summersville, WV; children Kim (Larry) Huddleston, Deloris (fiancé David Grossen) Hamrick-Meese, Mack Hamrick all of Wooster; grandchildren Ryan & Katelyn Huddleston, Samantha Wirt, and Madison Meese; brothers Darrell (Betty) Hamrick of Summersville, WV.
Leonard was preceded in death by his father Norville, brother Gene Hamrick and sister Anna Bailey.
