Leslie Teichmer

Leslie E. Teichmer Sr., 85, of Apple Creek, passed from this life on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at LifeCare Hospice.

Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster with Pastor Doug Wilcox officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, where military rites will be held. Les was born May 14, 1933 in Ralston, Oklahoma to Wann and Agnes {Campbell} Teichmer.

He married Sylvia Green on August 31, 1966.

He graduated from Ralston High School and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

Les worked in the oil and gas business for over 40 years, retiring from Armstrong Drilling in 1993.

He is survived by his wife, Sylvia of Apple Creek; sons Matt (Deb) Teichmer of Apple Creek, Les (April) Teichmer Jr. of Wooster, Tim (Miki) Teichmer of Dallas, TX; sisters Andrea Edgar of Cleveland, OK and Phyllis Green of Oilton, OK; eight grandchildren.

Les was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Wanda and Shirley, brothers Don and Bill, and grandson Jason.
