Linda Bellamy

March 13, 1957 — March 16, 2025

Wooster

Linda Marie Bellamy, 68, of Wooster, passed away Sunday, March 16, 2025, at the Cleveland Clinic Hospital in Cleveland with her family by her side after a short, but aggressive fight with cancer.

Linda was born March 13, 1957, in Bellefontaine, Ohio to Albert and Maxine {McCloud} Bellamy. Her father, being a colonel in the army, gave her a life of travel growing up as a proud military brat all over the world.

She graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Cincinnati. She became a stay-at-home mom with her two children, until it came time for a change and she returned to school. She acquired her Registered Nurse certification from the Mansfield General Hospital College of Nursing. This began her career with Cleveland Clinic in 2004 as a pediatric nurse and later became an Oncology Certified Nurse, retiring in 2022. She was a significant part of her work family, touching the lives of countless patients and their families as she cared for them over the years. As her life came full circle, she connected to many of the wonderful oncology nursing team, sharing her knowledge and stories with those who took such great care of her during her time spent at Cleveland Clinic main campus.

Linda loved crafts and anything related to them. Her love of sewing led to many outfits and dresses made for significant events for family and friends. She dedicated a lot of her free time to cheering on and taking care of her children and grandchildren. She truly was an amazing mom and nana, always there for them whenever she could, no matter the time, distance, or convenience. Linda was loved dearly by all those that met her with her soft demeanor and lighthearted nature.

Linda will be deeply missed by her daughters Kristine Lawson of Ashland and Leanne (Matthew) Allen of Bradford, England. She is survived by her sister Jane (Steve), her brother Dwayne (Wendy); her grandchildren Skylar, Hailey, Cohen and expected baby girl, Lydia; nieces Amy and Sarah; nephews Cameron (Elizabeth) and Mitchell (Amanda); and many cousins and extended family. Linda was preceded in death by her parents Albert and Maxine Bellamy.
