Linda Coblentz, age 75, passed into God’s heavenly kingdom on January 15, 2021, taken by COVID-19.
A private graveside service will be held at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel with Rev. James McComas officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Komen Breast Cancer at 13770 Noel Road, Suite 801889, Dallas, TX 75380.
Linda was born December 29, 1945 in Louisa, KY to the late Rev. Claude and Thelma J. {Gilkerson} McComas.
She married Raymond G. Coblentz on June 15, 1963. They enjoyed 57 years together.
Linda was employed as an associate at K-Mart and most recently, Wal-Mart, where she had many friends. She was a very loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Linda’s cherished times were the times spent at activities and vacationing with her grandchildren.
Linda will be deeply missed by her beloved husband, Raymond “Jerry”; two sons Tim (Christy) Coblentz of Rittman and Rodney (Alice) Coblentz of Shreve; five grandchildren and their spouses, Tylo (Jesse) Miller, Kimberly (Corey) Fickes, Lissa (Thomas) Collins, Timothy (Becca) Coblentz Jr. and Kyle Coblentz; and three great-grandchildren, Tristen, Lily and Emery Rose; and her loving puppy, Abby.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, infant daughter Kimberly Dawn.
Linda loved Jesus and tried to share His love. She will be dearly missed by all her loved ones. Rest in peace honey, we love you forever.
