Linda Marjean Dawson

Linda Marjean Dawson, 84, of Albuquerque, died March 7, 2025 at The Inn at CoalRidge, in Wadsworth, Ohio.

Linda was born December 21, 1940 in Pensacola, FL to Albert and Margaret {Gow} Bingham.

She married Larry “Ralph” Dawson on August 8, 1963.

Linda started her career as a 3rd grade school teacher, then was a homemaker, and spent over 40 years teaching Child Evangelism Fellowship classes. She was a member of the Albuquerque Chinese Baptist Church and served in the children’s ministries there as well. Linda was wholly devoted to children’s ministries both locally and internationally, and her greatest mission in life was to see kids walk with Christ.

Linda will be deeply missed by her husband Ralph; daughter Heather (Steven) Holsenback; and grandchildren Elena Holsenback and Serge Holsenback.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends may call Wednesday March 12 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Lakeside Christian Church in Akron. Funeral services will follow at 12 p.m. at the church (and livestreamed at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com/obituaries/Linda-Dawson) with Pastor Petar Nenadov officiating.
