Linda Sue Melenbacker

Linda Sue Melenbacker, 82, of Wooster, died October 21, 2024, at Mercy Hospital, in Canton, Ohio.

Linda was born January 4, 1942, in Wabash, Indiana to Karl and Virginia {Wallace} Melenbacker.

She graduated from Rittman High School and then received her Bachelor of Science from Bowling Green State University as a music major. 

Linda was employed with the U.S. Department of Agriculture from 1988-2010, where she retired after 22 years. Linda attended services at the Wooster Nazarene Church. She was also a member of Alcoholics Anonymous since 1978. Linda enjoyed working out, Astronomy and supported Medina County parks and Raptor center.

Linda will be deeply missed by her brother Karl W. (Janet) Melenbacker; sisters Anne (David) Steck, Katherine Broucek and Mary Hejduk and many nieces and nephews.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents Karl and Virginia Melenbacker and her sister Jane Davis.

Friends may call Wednesday October 30, 2024 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Milton Presbyterian Church in Rittman home (and be livestreamed at https://www.youtube.com/@miltonpresbyterianchurch2932?app=desktop) . Services will follow at 11 a.m. with Reverand Alex Barnes officiating. Burial will be at Rittman Cemetery. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
