Linda Will

Linda M. Will, 79, of Orrville, died September 21, 2023 at Aultman Hospital, in Canton.

Linda was born November 7, 1944 in Lewiston, NY to Edward and Mildred {Shaw} Skimin.

She loved to draw and paint. Linda entered the Peach Festival pageant in Lewiston and graduated from Lewiston Porter highschool in 1962, she played the violin in middle school. Linda loved designing jewelry, went to art school in Cleveland, Ohio, and got a job at Higbee’s Department store in Cleveland. There she met and married Stanley K. Will. She and her husband Stanley moved from Cleveland, Ohio to Sarasota, Florida and opened a business called Linda Fashions where they both designed clothing for Walt Disney World and surrounding businesses in the Bay area. They had two children together a daughter Shannon L. Will/Hoffman and a son Daron R. Will. She was a loving mother and very supportive. She always put others before herself. They later moved to Ohio. Where later her husband Stanley passed away. Some years passed and she found a good guy, Tim Shearer from Orrville, her fiancé that made her very happy and let some much-needed light into her life that she had lost and spent the last 20 years together.

Linda will be deeply missed by her daughter Shannon L. Will/Hoffman; son Daron R. Will; fiancé Tim Shearer; brother Sean E. (Terese) Skimin; sisters Kathleen C. (James N.)  O’Conner, and Heather Skimin Ryan; and cousins Valerie Gilliam, Damiel Gilliam, and Carol (Karl) Tiede.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents Edward R. and Mildred M. Skimin, husband Stanley Will, and her sister Cheryl Skimin.

Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster is assisting with arrangements. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, graveside services will be held Friday September 29, 2023 at 1 p.m. at the cemetery.
