Lloyd "Hank" Ulrich, 85, of Wooster, died Thursday, January 5, 2017 at Akron City Hospital.
Services will be Monday at 11am at the Grace Church with Pastor Randy Moomaw officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster is assisting with arrangements. Hank was born April 16, 1931 in Wooster to Lloyd Sr. and Mabel {Swartz} Ulrich.
He married Betty Armstrong on February 21, 1953. She survives.
Hank served in the US Army then worked for Akron Brass 40 years, retiring in 1996. He was an active member of Grace Church, serving as an usher and greeter for many years. He enjoyed gardening, working outdoors, and spending time with his family.
Hank will be deeply missed by his wife, Betty; children Ken (Donna) Ulrich of Camp Hill, PA and Karen (Stanley) Jentes of Wooster; grandchildren Michelle Nichols, Katie and Kenzie Ulrich; and 8 great-grandchildren.
Lloyd was preceded in death by his brother Dayton Ulrich.
