Lois Buck

April 14, 1940 — January 23, 2018

Lois Ann Buck (nee Goslin), 77, of Massillon, died Tuesday January 23, 2018, at Amherst Meadows, in Massillon.

Lois was born April 14, 1940 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania to Albert and Kathleen {Bell} Goslin.

In her early years, she took dance lessons and wore beautiful dresses that her mother lovingly sewed.  Lois attended cosmetology classes after graduation from Uniontown High School and later became licensed as a Cosmetologist in Pennsylvania and Florida.  She retired from cosmetology in 1985, and enjoyed various jobs until she found her passion for taking care of others as a nursing assistant.

Lois loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  She delighted in gardening, especially roses. She also enjoyed landscaping, housekeeping, reading, and bird watching. Lois enjoyed getting together with her friends in downtown Massillon for the summer concerts.  Her favorite was Mike Albert, a great Elvis impersonator.

Lois will be deeply missed by her children Denise (Bill Sheppard) Messier of Ashland, Paula (Todd) Beadle of Massillon, Paul Messier of Ashland, and JoAnn (Joe Kennedy) Kirkpatrick of Minerva;  grandchildren Justin Troyer, Nicole Beadle, Christa Troyer, Ashley Beadle, Kaele Lightfoot, Storm Messier, Madison Messier, Brighton Zakikian, Zacary Zakikian, McKayden Kirkpatrick, Ireland Kirkpatrick, Kannon Kirkpatrick, and Keaton Kirkpatrick;  great-grandchildren Zane Beadle, Aiden Clowers, and Kaidynce Troyer;  brother Raymond Goslin;  sisters Rosemary Senter and Bernadette Kleine.  She will also be deeply missed by her special friend Jerry Bruce of Massillon.

Memorial services will be Friday at 11:00 a.m.at Roberts Funeral Home, 1058 US 250 N Ashland Ohio 44805, with Chaplain Tammy Marks officiating.  Burial will be at a later date at Ashland County Memorial Park.  Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.   Memorial contributions may be made to Harbor Light Hospice 25 South Main Street #7 Munroe Falls, Ohio 44262.
