Lonny A. O'Brien, 80, of Wooster, died Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at West View Manor.
Graveside services will be Monday at 2pm at Sherwood Memorial Gardens where military rites will be performed. Pastor Eric Fairhurst will officiate. Lonny was born July 5, 1932 in Beaumont, Texas to Ruby (Ellis) and Shelby O'Brien. He married Eva Mae Simomes in June 1956.
Lonny retired from being an electrician after 20 years in 1972. He served in the US Navy during the Korean War. He enjoyed scuba diving, boats, Ham Radio (KB8TAJ), and was a member of the American Radio Relay League.
Lonny will be deeply missed by his son Tyra O'Brien; 5 grandchildren; brothers Larry, James, and Terry; and special friends Paul and Jan Parker.
Lonny was preceded in death by his son, Jerry O'Brien.
