Loraine Virginia Myers, 86, of Wooster, died Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Wooster Community Hospital.
Friends may call Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at West Hill Baptist Church with Pastor Eric Fairhurst officiating. Friends may also call one hour prior to the service at the church from 10 to 11 a.m. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association at 5455 N. High St., Columbus, OH 43214.
Loraine was born August 4, 1929 in Rowlesburg, WV to Andrew Lee and Cora Pearl {Bolyard} Bolner.
Loraine graduated from Rowlesburg high school.
She married Arlie Kenneth Myers on December 25, 1949.
Loraine worked at Frito Lay for 28 years. She was a member of West Hill Baptist Church in Wooster. Loraine enjoyed baking, crocheting and doing crossword puzzles. She loved spending time with her family, and most of all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Loraine was known for watching the wildlife at her "cottage" in West Virginia and reading her bible every morning before starting the day.
Loraine will be deeply missed by her husband, Arlie Kenneth, of 66 years; daughters Linda (Richard) Boley of Wooster, Karen Weideman of Smithville, Virginia (David) Hampe of Creston, Pamela (Rodger) Elliott of Wooster and Donna (Ricky) Boggs of North Lawrence; grandchildren Richard Boley, Kenneth (Dawn) Boley, Dale Boley, Heather (Phil) Lambert, Ryan (Amanda) Weideman, Virginia "Cork" (Kevin) Frase, Polly Donley, Sarah (Alex) Facemire, Matthew Elliott and Ricky Arlie Boggs; great-grandchildren Samantha Boley, Zayla Weideman, Taelyn Lambert, Grant and Gus Frase, Brittany and Devin Donley, Owen Boggs.
Loraine was preceded in death by her parents, brother Dennis Bolner and sister Loretta Tusing.
