Loren "Bill" Sampson

Loren Merle “Bill” Sampson, 83, of Akron, passed away March 4, 2022 surrounded by his family.  He was born in Mt. Zion, West Virginia the son of the late Roy and Evelyn {Roberts} Sampson.

Survived by his wife of 63 years, Lois Casteel Sampson; sons Bob (Judy), Bill (Virginia), and Lee Sampson; daughter Loreen (Chuck) North; grandchildren

Michael, Miranda (Danny) and Nicholas North; great-grandchildren and sister Mona Sampson Rice.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded by his son Rex and sisters Myrna Sampson Uldrich and Jane Sampson Kessler.

Bill retired from B&W in Barberton, Ohio. He loved his church family and his church, Grace Baptist Church on Firestone Blvd in Akron, Ohio
