Louise McIlvaine, 88, of Wooster, passed away Thursday, December 12, 2024, at Danbury Senior Living, in Wooster while holding hands with her twin sister Lois.
Louise was born March 27, 1936, in Cowen, WV to Van and Naomi Bessie {Brady} Drysdale. She was a member of the first graduating class of Norwayne High School in 1954. Louise married Dale McIlvaine on April 1, 1956. He passed away in 1995.
She enjoyed working alongside her family at McIlvaine Equipment until 1989.
Louise will be deeply missed by her children Dean McIlvaine and Susan (Dennis Lucarelli) McIlvaine; grandchildren Danielle, Ian, Schuyler (Chris Jiron) McIlvaine, Mark (Becca) Hayes, and Brian Hayes; great-grandson Vincent Hayes; beloved twin sister Lois Combs and sister Madeline Keith; sister-in-law Opal Jane Drysdale; brother-in-law Joe McIlvaine; nieces and nephews Ann, Bob, Patty, Linda, Charlotte, Annette, Deb, Carl, Mary, and Hank, and Gregg McIlvaine.
Louise was preceded in death by her husband Dale, brothers Dan Drysdale, and Ed Drysdale, niece Jeannie Hogg and nephew Bryan McIlvaine.
