Lucille Strauss

Lucille Strauss, 87, of Wooster, died Friday, November 22, 2019 at The Avenue.

Friends may call Tuesday from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster.  Funeral services will be Tuesday at 3 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Eric Fairhurst officiating. Burial will take place at 12 p.m. on Wednesday at Crown Hill Cemetery, in Twinsburg. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com. Lucille was born March 20, 1932 in Garfield Heights, Ohio to John and Henrietta {Hausler} Wilson.

She graduated from Garfield Heights.

She married Joseph J. Strauss on July 4, 1981. He died November 1, 2006.

Lucille worked for BradCo. Construction as a bookkeeper and BVR (Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation). She was a member of the Maple Heights United Methodist Church.

Lucille enjoyed gardening of all flowers and vegetables.

Lucille will be deeply missed by her children Diane Bradley Cox of Wooster, Jerry Glenn Bradley of North Royalton; 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and twin sister Lenora Green of Garfield Heights.

Lucille was preceded in death by her son James John Bradley III, son-in-law Luther Carl Cox and sister LaVerne Hance.
