Lula C. Columbo, 91, of Wooster, died Thursday, October 15, 2015 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Services will be Monday, October 19, 2015 at 3 P.M. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster with Pastor Eric Fairhurst officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service from 2 to 3 P.M. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to LifeCare Hospice, 1900 Akron Rd Wooster, OH 44691.
Lula was born June 21, 1924 in Morgantown, KY to Mr. and Mrs. DeWeese.
She married Bill F. Columbo Sr. on September 29, 1942. He passed on January 7, 2014.
Lula worked at Rubbermaid for more than 30 years. She attended and supported various churches. Lula loved to go ballroom and square dancing with the love of her life, Bill.
She will be deeply missed by her children Frank (Tracy) Columbo of Wooster and John (Judy) Columbo of Florida; grandchildren Allison Columbo of Wooster, Jeanna (Less) Morris and Derek (Rose) Columbo both of Loudonville; great-grandchildren Cody and Nate Morris of Loudonville; brother Jim Columbo of Shreve.
Lula was preceded in death by her husband Bill of 71 years, sisters Mildred, Mary, and Vita, and brothers Courtland, John, and Robert.
