Mabel Begly

Mabel Elva Begly, 89, of Ashland, died Wednesday, June 3, 2020, at St. Martin Assisted Living.

Mabel was born January 22, 1931 in West Salem, the youngest daughter of Jacob and Fanny Mae {Tyson} Henry.

She had numerous jobs around Ashland, a grill cook at several restaurants, cleaned house for folks around Ashland and was also an Avon Lady.

Mabel will be deeply missed by her children Virgil (Rochelle) Begly of Ashland, Dwight (Jolene) Begly of Enterprize, AL, and Philis Brown of Hinton, WV; grandchildren Dionte, Tyson, Rachel, Cassandra, Sondra, and Cora; 12 great-grandchildren; three great great-grandchildren.

Mabel was preceded in death by her parents, siblings Marion, Anna, Harvy, Laura and John.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Roberts Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
