Mable Knowlton, born October 20, 1950, in West Virginia, passed away peacefully in her home in Ashland County, Ohio, surrounded by her loving family. She was 74 years old.
Mable spent most of her life in Ashland County, where she built a warm and welcoming home filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished memories. She was a devoted wife to her husband James Knowlton for 58 years and a proud mother to her four children: sons Tim and Tom Knowlton and daughters Tammy Frontz and Toni Bandy. Her legacy lives on through her 11 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense joy. Mable is also survived by her brother, Bill Porter.
Mable had a deep love for her family and treasured every moment spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling with her loved ones, creating memories that will be carried on for generations. A passionate sports fan, Mable rarely missed a chance to cheer on her beloved Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Indians.
Her kindness, warmth, and unwavering love for her family will be missed by all who knew her.
A private celebration of Mable’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you plant a tree in Mable's honor.
