Madelyn Harris

Madelyn Ladene Harris, 86, of Wooster, died Friday, February 26, 2021 at Brookdale Montrose.

Madelyn was born June 2, 1934 in Lansing, MI to Gerald and Genevieve {Maxwell} Wolfe.

She graduated from Alma School of Nursing.

She married Joseph Harris on December 17, 1955. He died May 4, 2015.

Madelyn worked in nursing for most of her life. She was a past member of the Wooster United Methodist Church. She enjoyed being outdoors, hiking and traveling the country.

Madelyn will be deeply missed by her sons John (Natalie) from Stow and David (Kimberly) from Akron; daughter in law Valerie from St. Marys, PA; grandchildren Elise, Erica (Daniel), Amanda, Elizabeth, Rachel, Colin and Olivia; brother Aaron (Jan) Wolfe; sister Karen Keller.

Madelyn was preceded in death by her husband, son Stephen, and brother Ross.

Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel, Seville is assisting the family. There will be no service held. Burial will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
