Marcelene J. “Marcie” Norris, 85, of Wooster, passed away Thursday, November 18, 2021, at West View Healthy Living, in Wooster.

Friends may call Tuesday from 2 to 3 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster.  Services will follow at 3 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Kirk Fairhurst officiating. Marcie was born October 23, 1936, in Cameron, Ohio to Ernest and Glenna {McMahon} Ward.

She married Ralph E. Norris on August 28, 1954. He died in 2005.

Marcie retired from Frito Lay after 25 years of service. She was a Church of Christ member. Marcie loved traveling throughout the United States and in Europe.  She also enjoyed cooking, winning many ribbons at the Wayne County Fair over the years.  Marcie especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

Marcie will be deeply missed by her children Linda Pethtel, Jim Norris, and Randy Norris all of Wooster; 4 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; siblings Denver (Lorna) Ward of Columbus, Nellie (Francis) Nutt of London, OH, Carol Pittman of Johnstown, OH, LuLu Belle Pierce of Lewis Center; and many nieces and nephews.

Marcie was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph, siblings Vernon Ward, Roman Ward, Vera Baker, and Ray Ward.
