Marcia E McMahon

Marcia Ellen McMahon, 85, of Mount Vernon, OH, passed away April 9, 2024, at Brookdale Nursing Home, in Mount Vernon.

Marcia was born July 26th, 1938 in Mount Vernon, OH to Edward Vern and Ruth {Maxwell} Davies.
She married Joseph Allison McMahon on July 1963.  

She worked for Continental Can as a secretary to the plant Manager Mr. Curtis for over 25 years until she moved to Florida.  In Florida she worked as an Office Manager for Secco Dairy for another 30 years until she retired at age 70.  She cared for her children well.  She loved animals, all kinds, and sometimes the birds landed on Joseph.  

Marcia will be deeply missed by her children Michael (Paige) McMahon, Michael (Leslie) Colopy; grandchildren Jeremy Zahrndt, Christopher (Christina) McMahon, Jeffrey Gordon, Steven (Tracy) Gordon, Michael  (Lisa) Gordon; and her brother Mike (Patty) Davies and many great grandchildren.    
Marcia was preceded in death by her, parents, husband, her sister Marilyn O’Brian, and grandson Joseph Michael Colopy.
