Margaret Deringer

Margaret Geneva “Maggie” Deringer, 72, of Fredericksburg, passed away Sunday, January 29, 2023, at the Wooster Community Hospital.

She was born April 9, 1950, in Barnesville, Ohio to Newell A. and Georgia A. {Harper} Moore. Maggie graduated from Wooster High School in 1968.

She was a welder for Orrville Products, and an assembler at Volvo White for many years.  She retired from Akron Brass in 2017.  Maggie enjoyed gardening, watching football, and spending time with friends and family. She had a big heart and would do anything for anyone that needed help.

Maggie will be deeply missed by her children Chester Deringer of Fredericksburg and Christine (Alex) Sykes of Hinckley and their children Rachel, Lane, and Liam Sykes; and a brother Robert Moore of Lodi.

Maggie was preceded in death by her parents and sister Nellie Fetzer.
