Margaret "Peggy" Gail Richards

Margaret "Peggy" Gail Richards, 57, of Belpre, Ohio won her battle against Cancer on May 18, 2023. 

When Cancer believes it has won the most amazing thing happens, Cancer loses its strength and God’s Grace appears. Grace and love win, not Cancer. Peggy is now healed and in the arms of her Savior Jesus Christ.

She was born on March 23, 1966, a daughter of Kenneth and Mary Fish. 

She is survived by her loving husband of 41 yrs Brian Richards; her children Joshua Richards, Dustin (Amanda) Richards, Jacob (Hannah) Richards, Mareesa Richards, Bryson Richards and William (Rinnah) Groghan; Her Grandchildren Jarred, Brian, Austin, Tyler, Jaden, James, Madelyn, Caydence, Zayden and Dean; Three siblings; Thomas Lynn Fish, Rhonda Martin and Faith Eddy; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Peggy and Brian have fostered many Children that will always hold a special place in their hearts.

She was preceded in death by her parents Kenneth Neal Fish and Mary Margaret Fish; Siblings Kenneth James Fish (Jim) and Charles Neal Fish (Chuck).

Funeral services will be held at 3 PM on Sunday, May 21, 2023 at Roberts Funeral Home, 27880 State Route 7, Marietta, OH 45750 with Pastor Rick Shingleton and Pastor Tim Mendenhall officiating. Burial to follow at East Lawn Memorial Park with Peggy Shingleton officiating graveside services.  Visitation will be held from 1 PM until the time of the service.
