Margaret Louise Zocolo Thomas, 98, passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at Highland Oaks Health Center in McConnelsville, OH. She was born May 14, 1925 in Salem, Ohio to Michael and Lena {D'Agnone} Zocolo.
Margaret married Raymond E. Thomas on May 14, 1947.
She was previously employed in the offices of Timberlanes and the offices of Strouss, both in Salem.
Margaret was a 10 year volunteer at Heart of Florida Hospital in Winter Haven, FL. She was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Salem where she sang with the Memorial Choir.
Margaret is survived by her daughters Nancy (Art) Medicino of Marietta, OH and Beverly Thomas of Cincinnati, OH; granddaughter Tara (Matt) Dulin and their children Isaiah and Caleb, and grandson Jonathan Ramundo and his son Gio.
In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Raymond E. Thomas; brother William "Bud" Zocolo; sister Shirley Zeppernick, son-in-law Michael Ramundo and her best friend from childhood, Helen Oreskovich.
The family would like to thank the entire staff of Highland Oaks Health Center for their compassion, care and attention shown towards Margaret.
