Margie Taggart Wikle-Spaulding

January 16, 1932 — April 12, 2025

Margie Taggart Wikle- Spaulding passed away on April 12, 2025.  She was a native of Ohio, residing in Fairhope, Alabama after 34 years in Mobile. An alumnus of Ohio State University, she was on the rifle team. In Mobile, she was president of the Federated Garden Clubs of Mobile County for several years and she sat on the board of the Beautification Board of Mobile. Margie was active in Forest Hill United Methodist Church in Mobile and Fairhope United Methodist Church after moving to Fairhope.

She was blessed to have two loving, caring men in her life- Marion M. Wikle- the father of her three children and later, after his passing, married Charles A. Spaulding until his passing in 2014.

She is survived by three children; Tad S. Wikle (Carolyn), Terry B. Wikle (Theresa), Tracey Wikle Beaver (Mike). Especially loved grandchildren, Joshua Lecroy (Nicole), Sara Lecroy (Eric), Ryan Wikle (Courtney), Ashley Wikle Oliver (Cole), Courtney Loper and Shelby Scott. Great-Grandchildren Olivia Wikle, Brantley Wikle, Corbin Lecroy, Chloe Lecroy, and Madilynn Oliver.

Any gifts may be made to Fairhope United Methodist Church or to your favorite charity.

Graveside services will be Wednesday April 23rd at 2:00 PM, at Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens, 18260 Coshocton Rd, Mount Vernon, OH 43050.  Rev Marvin Haught presiding.
