Marilyn Joan McCabe

Marilyn Joan McCabe, 94, of Marietta, died Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at Harmer Place.

Marilyn was born March 8, 1930, in Marietta to Gilbert Carlton and Sarah {Beaver} Ewing.

She married James Perrine, he passed away on July 15, 1992.

Marilyn was an accomplished salesperson in the real estate and cemetery industries for several years. She was also an LPN at Selby Hospital in Marietta.

Marilyn was a member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed playing Bingo and traveling.

Marilyn will be deeply missed by her children Joanne (John) Campbell of Vienna, Louise Holland of Marietta, Doug Dick of Athens, Terry Amos of New Matamoras, Valerie (Trent) Schmidt of Newport, and Nancy Dick of Marietta; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother Norman (Jean) Ewing of Waterford and a sister Sandy (Jim)Wagner of Vincent, step daughter-in-law Marilyn Perrine.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, sons-in-law George Amos, Everett Holland, stepsons Terry and Curt Perrine, and grandson Jake Amos.

Private burial will be at East Lawn Memorial Park.
