Mark Stephen Benchoff, 52, of Ewing, died December 4, 2013 at his residence, in Ewing, Kentucky.
Friends may call Wednesday, December 11, 2013 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Funeral services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Reverend Kevin Phipps officiating. Burial will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, where military rites will be held. Mark graduated from Wooster High School in 1979.
He served as a combat engineer, in the Ohio National Guard, U.S. Army and U.S. Army Reserve from 1979-1991. Mark was stationed in Germany for 4 years and ended his service with the rank of E-7 (Sergeant First Class).
Mark worked for the United States Postal Service in Lexington, Kentucky. He was a jack of all trades and a dog lover with two AKC German Shepherds.
Mark is survived by his mother Rosemary Morris of Ashland, brother David (Lori) Benchoff of Ashland, nieces Jenette, Kristina, Nephews Roger III, Karl and Kurt also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Mark was preceded in death by his father Roger and his special Uncles Patrick, Dale and Guy "Junior".
