Mark McCort

Mark M. McCort, 79, of Burbank, passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2021, surrounded by loved ones at his residence.

Friends may call Saturday, which would have been their 55th wedding anniversary, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Private family services at the funeral home with Evangelist Jeff Rich officiating.  Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, where military rites will be held. Mark was born January 6, 1942, in Wooster, Ohio to Robert and Edith {Hixson} McCort.

Mark was a member of the Army National Guard for 6 years.

He married Shirley Alleman on January 30, 1966. She passed in July of 2019.

He retired from Frito Lay in 2004. After retiring, he worked part-time at Mast Lepley for 13 years. He was a member of Rittman Church of Christ. Mark enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family.

Mark will be deeply missed by his children Mike (Kristen) McCort and Becky (Kevin) Draper both of Wooster; grandchildren Ben Draper and Lucas McCort; brother Frank (Helen) McCort of Wooster; sister Mary (Earl) Hunter of Orrville, and nieces and nephews.

Mark was preceded in death by his wife and his parents.
