Martha Anne Ryder

Martha Anne Ryder, 84, formerly of Vienna, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2024 at Harmar Place surrounded by her family.
Martha was born October 4, 1939 in Marietta, Ohio to Glen and Gladys {Needs} Yost.
She was a 1957 graduate of Parkersburg High School.
Martha was an office manager and bookkeeper and retired from Carl Stephens Construction Company. She was a past member of Zonta Club of Parkersburg. Martha enjoyed her family, especially her great grandson and was an avid animal lover. 
The family would like to thank the staff at Elison Senior Living, the ICU and 2 North staff at Marietta Memorial, the staff at Harmar Place and the hospice team from Marietta Home Health and Hospice for their kindness and care.  
Martha will be deeply missed by her children Mike (Sandy) Butcher of Parkersburg, Kim (Jimmy) Powell of Fleming; grandchildren Wesley and Joel Butcher, Megan (Josh) Forrider; great grandson Kasen Forrider; sister Carolyn Hodges.
In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by her husband Wallace Ryder; and her sister Betty Flowers.
