Marvin Hauter

Marvin Eugene “Gene” Hauter, 73 of Wooster, entered into his home with the Lord following a brief illness on Saturday, January 30, 2021.

Marvin was born June 27,1947 in Wooster to Marvin LeRoy and C. Ellen {Garver} Haueter.

Marvin served in the US Army. He worked for Albright Radiator for 37 years.  Marvin enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, gardening, going to the movies, and spending time with his family.  He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles and of the American Legion of Wooster.

Marvin is survived by wife Renee F. {Rose} Hauter; children Larry Hauter, Joslyn Hauter, Troy Hauter, Angela Glasgow, and Paul (Catherine) Hauter; 18 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; his two best friends Thomas Hoxworth and Doug Cranston.  He was preceded in death by his parents.
