Mary Elizabeth Buzzard

Mary Elizabeth Buzzard, 77, of Marietta, passed away Saturday, August 13, 2022 at her home.

Mary was born October 13, 1944 in Marietta to John Andrew and Velma Margaret {Zerick} Buzzard.

She was a 1961 graduate of Marietta High School. Mary spent many years caring for her parents, her nieces and nephews, and her great nieces and nephews.  She was a rabid sports fan, including The Ohio State Buckeyes, the Cincinnati Bengals and the Cincinnati Reds. She had a soft heart to any stray cat or dog that came to her door. Mary held close to her heart dear friends Mary Schafer Denton and Bonnie Masters; and her special cousin Vicki Hersh.

Mary will be deeply missed by her sister-in-law Virginia Lee Buzzard and her brother-in-law Ronald Marvin Casto; as well as many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her sister Velma Delores “Sis” Casto; her brother John Richard Buzzard, and great nephew Levi Adam Weppler.
