Mary Elizabeth Campbell, 88, of Ashland, died Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Kingston Nursing Home.
Mary was born February 16, 1928 in New London to Arthur and Nellie {Watkins} Johnson.
She graduated from New London High School.
She married Richard C. Campbell on August 16, 1947.
Mary retired from Philway Products of Ashland. She was a member of First Baptist Church of West Salem. Mary enjoyed spending time with her husband, where they would go camping and fishing together.
Mary will be deeply missed by her husband Richard of 68 years; children Richard (Marilyn) Campbell Jr. of Loveland, CO and Thomas (Carolyn) Campbell of Poughkeepsie, NY; grandchildren Andrea (Ernie) Strick of Loveland, CO and Amber (Chris Cronin) Campbell of Aurora, CO; great-grandchildren Brenden and Molly Strick; twin sister Helen Jean Campbell of New London.
Mary was preceded in death by her daughter Debra Campbell, granddaughter Jessica Campbell, brothers Wayne and Thomas Johnson.
Friends may call Tuesday from 4 to 6 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel, Ashland. Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Ashland County Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the Central Ohio Diabetes Association at 1100 Dennison Ave., Columbus, OH 43201.
