Mary Goodwin

Mary E. Goodwin, 77, of Shreve, passed away Thursday, February 4, 2022, at her home, surrounded by family.

Mary was born April 10, 1944, in Charleston, West Virginia to Edward and Margaret {King} Elswick.

Mary graduated from Charleston High School in 1962.

She married Robert Goodwin in 1964.  He passed away on August 31, 1979.

Mary retired from Frito-Lay after over thirty years of service.  She loved gardening, especially planting flowers. The most important thing for Mary was always family and friends.

Mary will be deeply missed by her daughter Penny (James) Hofheins;  grandchildren Ashley (Jacob) Seaton, Brandon (Rachelle) Ogden, Alysha (Zeph), and Brittany Sue McFadden;  great-grandsons Blake, Zayden, Kain, and Maximus; great-granddaughters “her baby girls” Layla, Paisley, and Myla.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, daughter Melissa Zimmerly, and many siblings.
